I hope it helps you out, it only aggravates me that I can’t go to Yosemite right now.
my inability to use my right hand. More on that later. Another reason I haven’t been updating the blog is because I am without a digital camera. I was thrown into a pool, along with my camera and phone, a while ago. I shopped around for a replacement but I want to step up my game, so now I want to buy either an E-P1, Lecia D-Lux 4 or M9. I take donations. Thank you.
In the meantime, since I have a lot of time due to my injury (more on that later), I will have random and more well-thought out postings on the blog.
Here’s a picture I took while taking a walk through Ukrainian Village in Chicago, on my way to Rotofugi. A friend of mine brought this picture to my attention, as I never gave it much thought, and complimented me on it. Thanks Jenny!

Well my week was as usual up until Thursday. My friend’s brother came up on Dodger playoff tickets, and I was invited. No way I was going to turn down such an invitation. Turned out to be a great game!
Made it to the stadium with plenty of time to spare.

Taking a break.

Manny looking back. Checking out the crowd.

We broke a sign from hitting on it throughout the game….Ooops! Also there was Zach Hample (wearing Dodger hat and striped shirt), who goes around the world catching homeruns, flyballs, or whatever makes it over the wall. He’s caught well over a 1000 balls. I don’t think he was able to get any in this game, just a few during batting practice.

And after an excruciatingly exciting game, they finally came through and won the game!!

Fake Manny was excited too! He looks freakishly similiar to Manny, I would be scared if I was the real Manny.

Met some awesome girls at the game. They were into the game as much as we were, if not much more.

They made a sign that they later had to take down. It was covering a million dollar sign, so yea I guess that was a legitimate reason.

Game was awesome! I am sure most of you know how Game 2 against the Cardinals ended. Don’t blame the towels Holliday!
On Saturday we went down to Buena Park to enjoy some time at Knotts Berry Farm for their Haunt experience.
We got to the room and began to prep for the night.

This was all a gathering to celebrate Danny’s 30th B-day (pictured in the middle of the group).

The monsters at Knotts are more friendly than they are frightening.

Danny trying to bust a backflip. He failed.

On Sunday I just caught up with a few friends around the Valley. One of which was great to catch up with. Haven’t seen this friend for well over a decade and to find out how much we have in common made it just that much more amazing.
Now I’m back at home, and about to begin my regular work week. Although, something might just come up and who knows where I’ll end up.
San Diego is like my second home, so when Mickie was invited to drive at the Speed Festival held at the Naval base at Coronado Island I couldn’t resist tagging along. This drifting exhibition reminded me yet again why I really need to finish my car. You can send donations to my paypal account…ahaha…thanks.
Anyways, on to the photos.
Crossing the Coronado bridge. Awesome panoramic view.

Took a quick pic of the hotel we stayed at over the weekend. Good choice Mickie!!

The view from our hotel room.

An LCAC (Landing Craft Air Cushion) doing a quick little demo before the drifting exhibition began.

Mickie about to shred tires and melt faces!!

The cars and history there was astounding.

Jeff Gordon’s car that he drove back in 1993, owned and driven by another party now.

I have always had a special place in my heart for classic Corvette Stingrays. This one is bad ass!

Little brakes.

The cooling setup, the stainless steel lines, the engine, all things I would want.

Chevron B8. Things look so cool with the right paint scheme.

The most recognizable symbol in automotive history.

I would cruise in this. Most definitely.

Got to drive the new Mercedes Benz E63 AMG. Luxurious and fast. So yummy.

On my way to the driver’s seat, and about to push the car to its limit.

Inside a 2 million dollar RV looking out at the race track. The RV was nice but not my taste, it was too….visually loud.

Interior shot of the old Jeff Gordon stock car.

Awesome sheet metal and riveting work.

This Ford Falcon was amazingly LOUD!

I should’ve been a pilot.

The lineup.

Walking on the LCAC.

There were so many cars that I wish I could own and drive, this was just one of many.

Night shot out our hotel room window.

This man was playing some amazing music. Seriously look him up and listen. www.artistgeneral.com

And yet another vehicle I would love to have. Just imagine cruising in this thing down Pismo Beach right on the sand. Perfect.

That’s it for now. Have to thank everyone at Drift Circuit for making drifting a part of Speed Festival, I’m on a mission to be a part of the exhibition next year. Thanks Mickie, Shawna, and Greg for just being awesome as always! Good job to all the drivers that participated in Speed Festival and most especially to the drivers in the drift exhibition. The crowd loved it!
It’s on the LEEEFT!
I’m counting the days to being able to do this every morning.

Oh and thanks to Mickie, I now have to get a cruiser!! It won’t just be any cruiser either.

Damn! Such a beauty. If I don’t find a good deal on that bike, then I dunno if I can pay top dollar for it, but who knows…I really want it. Whacha think? Should I get it!?!?
Although TV on the Radio’s “Dear Science” album was released in 2008, it is still always in heavy rotation in my CD player. Check them out and you’ll find out why.

Their sound is addicting!
